Because of the uncommonly long festival run we had for I Am a Ghost, people have been confused about when the official anniversary is. The film was shot in 2011, did the United States festival run in 2012, then the European run in 2013. It was released theatrically in 2014 and then on home video in 2015.
Well, now that Level 33 Entertainment is our new distributor, I Am a Ghost is receiving the deluxe Blu-Ray treatment with a new pressing that dwarfs the DVD transfer from 2015.
And on April 26, the San Diego Asian Film Festival will be hosting a retrospective screening of I Am a Ghost on their wall-to-wall screen at the Digital Gym Cinema!
