"This is our private channel, can you hear me?"
With the amount of tragedy and loss that my friends and folks have experienced over the past year, I feel very lucky to be able to explore these feelings through my art and I'm kicking off this *trilogy* of "Life After Loss" this month in San Francisco with The Svane Family Foundation.

In 2012, I wrote an electronic dance album for Mark Del Lima's birthday called ππ€π’π€π§π§π€π¬ and the narrative chronicled the human journey to the moon after the Earth is ravaged by a deadly virus. Not only was this an exploration of my obsession with retrofuturism, it was a way for me to deal with my anxieties around sustainability, death and the future.
In 2020, The Svane Family Foundation commissioned 100 artists to reinterpret the narrative of "The Ark", a vessel that survives a disrupting event. I was one of those artists and I took ππ€π’π€π§π§π€π¬ and transformed it into a visual piece, a sci-fi "visual album" (think ππ’π²π°πΊπ²π’π’π΅π΄πͺ meets ππͺπ―π¬ πππ°πΊπ₯: ππ©π¦ ππ’ππ, or ππ’π§π΅ ππΆπ―π¬: ππ―π΅π¦π³π΄π΅π¦πππ’ 5555 π) that I designed to play on three square screens.
Now, in 2021, The Svane Family Foundation is proud to present ARK, a collection of 100 new works curated for auction and exhibition from September 16-30 at the San Francisco Art Institute, Fort Mason where you can catch a screening of ππ§π§πππ, πππππ¬, π₯πππππ¦π.
