Mission Arcade is happening at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum as part of TAKEOVER: H.P. Mendoza's "Indoor Block Party"!
H.P. Mendoza's Indoor Block Party happens on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2016
The 10th anniversary of Colma: The Musical is coming up and if you know the opening song, please sing along with me! Just record yourself singing/playing along with me and send me the video so I can edit something tohether!
We were asked to make a "spot" of sorts for use on talk shows and general publicity. However, this will most likely just be used on facebook. Feel free to share. (And block off St. Patrick's Day...)
Wow, just five days ago I asked if anyone wanted to join me in a tribute to David Bowie and here we are with a video that reaches from San Francisco to New York to Vietnam and Spain. THANK YOU ALL! Click on the link below to see/hear the final result.
Here’s my seed video for a potential sing-along. If you feel like joining in, record yourself singing/playing with me as your background and send me what you got, I’ll edit it all together.
Hugo dominated the night in Unreal Tournament, while we all forgot to take score during MarioKart because booze. Also, karaoke is unavoidable. :)
Thanks to everyone who showed up for New Year’s Mission Arcade! Games have always been the backdrop for our parties, so it was eye-opening to see what would happen if we actively made it a tourney. Takeaway: everything ends in karaoke. ♥
THIS is how we party like it’s 1999. Come on, flak monkeys. Call one of us if you don't know the location.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and dancing/gaming/sangin' - with only a few days notice, we can still put on a hoppin' party!
"Let's do the Timewarp again!"
Dust off your ghost boxes and just show up. For Noddy's birthday, try to knock him off of Rainbow Road. Call one of us if you can't figure out the location.

DORK, live music by H.P. Mendoza. Sing. Dance. Play. Shutdown is sunrise. Call one of us for the location.
Thanks to everyone who responded so quickly. The location had to be determined on the fly, and you all made it. Love wins! DOMA IS FUCKING GONE!
The crowd participation was unexpectedly moving. So much love in the audience and on stage. Excuse the audio, it was taken from various phones throughout the night. It was amazing to hear the audience singing along with the song. And seeing as how so many of our friends and family were there, there was audience harmony, too! From where we stood, seeing the people hanging out the windows and off the balconies to watch us as the fog coasted past the stars was super magical. Thanks to everyone who showed up. :)

Could Mission Arcade infiltrate different spaces around San Francisco? Would we get caught? (Would it be worth it?)
Testing out projection mapping of faces on actual faces. #IDEO
Daylight Savings afterparty. Writer/Director Dave Boyle sure can croon.
